Our Commitment

At Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to providing quality education, professional training, and business support with fairness, professionalism, and transparency.

This policy explains payment requirements, cancellations, refunds, rescheduling, missed appointments, and payment disputes.

Please review this policy before registering for a paid class, workshop, or service.

1. General Payment Policy

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Payment is required before a paid class or workshop begins.

  • Paid registrations are confirmed after required registration information and payment have been received.

  • Fees may cover administrative processing, instructor preparation, educational materials, course registration, and other disclosed service expenses.

  • Prices and available services may change for future bookings.

  • Any additional fees will be disclosed before purchase.

Free introductory consultations do not require payment.

2. Free Introductory Consultations

Moore Compliance & Community Services LLC offers complimentary introductory consultations to discuss community education, professional training, notary education, and business development opportunities.

There is no charge to schedule or attend an introductory consultation.

If you cannot attend, please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible so the appointment can be made available to someone else.

No cancellation fee applies to free introductory consultations.

3. CPR, First Aid, AED, BLS & Safety Training

Registration fees reserve a participant's place in a scheduled training course.

For applicable certification courses, fees may include instructor-led training, hands-on skills assessments, course materials, and certification processing.

Customer cancellations:

  • With at least 48 hours' notice, participants may request one complimentary transfer to another available class within 90 days of the original class date.

  • Only one complimentary transfer is available per registration.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are generally non-refundable.

  • No-shows are generally not eligible for refunds or complimentary rescheduling.

If online coursework, course materials, or third-party training access have already been issued, any non-refundable charges associated with those items must have been disclosed before purchase.

Nothing in this policy limits refunds required by law.

4. Blended Learning Courses

Some American Red Cross, American Heart Association (AHA), or Health & Safety Institute (HSI) courses require online coursework before an instructor-led skills session.

Participants are responsible for completing all required online assignments before attending.

Failure to complete required coursework may result in rescheduling or delayed certification.

The Company does not control the technical operation of third-party training platforms. Participants may need to contact the applicable provider for account or technical assistance.

Refund and rescheduling requests will be handled under the applicable course terms and legal requirements.

5. Late Arrival

Participants should arrive approximately 5–10 minutes before their scheduled class.

A participant arriving more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start may be unable to join if required instruction has already begun.

Late arrivals may need to reschedule and may not qualify for a refund, subject to applicable law and any accommodation obligations.

6. No-Shows

A no-show occurs when a participant fails to attend a scheduled class, workshop, or paid appointment without providing notice.

No-shows are generally not eligible for refunds or complimentary rescheduling, except where required by law or approved by the Company.

7. Illinois Notary Public Workshop

Workshop Fee: $10 per participant

Our Illinois Notary Public workshop provides introductory education about becoming a commissioned Notary Public in Illinois.

The workshop may cover eligibility requirements, the application process, responsibilities, and relevant state resources.

Cancellation and rescheduling:

  • Workshop fees are generally non-refundable after registration.

  • Participants providing at least 48 hours' notice may request one complimentary reschedule, subject to availability.

  • No-shows generally forfeit their registration fee.

  • If the Company cancels the workshop, participants may choose a full refund or another available date.

Important: Attending this workshop does not guarantee a notary commission. The Illinois Secretary of State determines commissioning eligibility and approval. State application fees, bonds, and other official requirements are separate unless expressly included in the workshop description.

8. Professional Training & Community Education Workshops

Paid educational workshops and professional development programs are subject to the following general terms unless different terms are disclosed during registration:

  • Cancellations with at least 48 hours' notice may qualify for one complimentary reschedule.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice are generally non-refundable.

  • No-shows generally do not qualify for refunds.

  • Company-cancelled programs qualify for a refund or rescheduling option.

Free educational events do not carry cancellation charges, but participants are encouraged to notify us if they cannot attend.

9. Business Development Services

Fees for paid business development workshops, group training, or other educational services will be disclosed before booking.

Any project-specific deliverables, deadlines, payment schedules, or cancellation terms will be provided in the applicable service agreement when necessary.

Educational consultations and business support do not guarantee funding, business approval, revenue, profitability, or any specific commercial outcome.

10. Mobile and Electronic Notary Services

Where offered and legally authorized, notary services may include traditional, mobile, or electronic notarization.

Fees for notarial acts will comply with applicable Illinois law.

Mobile appointments may involve separately disclosed travel fees.

  • Payment is generally due when services are provided, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a previously disclosed cancellation fee.

  • If travel has begun, a disclosed travel fee may remain payable to the extent permitted by law.

  • Fees for completed notarial acts are generally non-refundable unless required by law or the service was improperly performed.

If a notarization cannot be completed because legal requirements are not met, any applicable administrative or travel charge must have been disclosed in advance and must comply with Illinois law.

11. Course Completion & Certification

Certification is awarded only after a participant satisfies the requirements of the applicable training or certification organization.

Requirements may include attendance, online coursework, written assessments, and hands-on skills evaluations.

Registration or payment does not guarantee certification.

Participants who do not meet required standards may need additional training or reassessment. Any additional fees will be disclosed before a new purchase.

12. Group Training

Private group training may be available for businesses, schools, churches, childcare centers, healthcare facilities, and community organizations.

Group arrangements may include:

  • A minimum of five participants.

  • Up to twelve participants per instructor, where appropriate for the specific course and certification requirements.

  • Additional instructors for larger groups.

  • Disclosed travel fees for off-site instruction.

  • Custom pricing provided before booking.

Group-specific cancellation and payment terms may be included in a separate written agreement.

13. Company-Initiated Cancellations

We may cancel or reschedule services because of severe weather, instructor illness, facility closure, low enrollment, equipment problems, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we cancel a paid class, workshop, or service before providing it, participants may choose:

  • A full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service; or

  • A transfer to another available date at no additional charge.

Refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method, subject to payment processor timelines.

14. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact us promptly if they believe a charge is incorrect or a service was not provided as agreed.

Customers retain all rights to dispute transactions under applicable consumer protection laws and payment network rules.

If a payment dispute occurs, the Company may provide relevant supporting documentation to the payment processor, including registration records, payment confirmations, attendance records, course assignments, appointment confirmations, and communications related to the transaction.

We may pursue lawful remedies for unpaid balances or fraudulent transactions where appropriate.

Nothing in this policy prevents a customer from exercising legally protected chargeback or dispute rights.

15. Requests for Exceptions

We recognize that emergencies and unexpected circumstances may occur.

Requests for exceptions will be reviewed individually, taking into account the circumstances, applicable law, and the requirements of any third-party training provider.

We will make reasonable efforts to handle requests fairly.
