🎒 Advocacy & Support

At She Fought for Them, we believe every child deserves to be seen, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive and every caregiver deserves to feel confident navigating the systems meant to help them.

Advocating for a child—especially within the school system—can feel overwhelming, confusing, and at times discouraging.

You don’t have to face it alone.

We are here to walk beside you, equip you, and help you find your voice.

🤝 Meeting Preparation Support

School meetings can feel intimidating. We help you walk in prepared and confident.

We can help you:

  • Prepare questions ahead of time

  • Understand documents before meetings

  • Identify your concerns and priorities

  • Feel emotionally supported before and after meetings

You deserve to feel heard—not overwhelmed.

🧡 Educational Advocacy Support

Whether your child has an IEP, needs additional support, or you simply feel something isn’t right we help you better understand the process and take confident steps forward.

We support parents, grandparents, and caregivers by:

  • Breaking down the IEP and school support process in clear, simple terms

  • Helping you prepare for school meetings and feel confident asking questions

  • Supporting you in organizing your thoughts, concerns, and goals for your child

  • Offering encouragement before and after difficult conversations with schools

  • Helping you understand your child’s needs and how to communicate them effectively

Our goal is to empower you not replace you because your voice is the most powerful one in your child’s life.

💬 A Voice for Your Child Begins With You
Advocacy is not about being perfect—it’s about being present, informed, and willing to speak up.
